The Vern Riffe Parent-Teacher Organization is selling raffle tickets to help buy Christmas gifts VRS students. The drawing will be streamed live on the Scioto County Developmental Disabilities Facebook page at 1 p.m. on Dec. 18.
Ten basket themes are available to choose from:
- “Scent of the Seasons" includes gift cards to Bath and Body Works and Victoria’s Secret, and one Victoria’s Secret Red and Black Buffalo Plaid Bag.
- “The Nightmare Before Christmas" includes plush and poseable character figures, a metal sled, wall sign, light-up tree, and more.
- “Cincinnati Bengals-Who Dey" includes a Bengals throw blanket, canvas wall print, folding chair, tumbler, wireless speaker, and more.
- “Snackin’ Around the Christmas Tree" includes an assortment of JR’s General Store and Amish Country snacks, such as pickles, seasonings, butter, jalapenos, and more.
- “Vern Riffe School Cardinals" includes VRS hoodies, t-shirts, towels, tumblers, and more.
- “Security in a Blink" includes a three-camera Blink Outdoor wireless system and video doorbell.
- “A Cozy Night In" includes DVD movies, a candle, popcorn, blanket, card games, and more.
- “THE Ohio State Buckeyes- Let’s Tailgate" includes a cornhole set, charcoal grill, throw blanket and pillow, and more.
- “Hometown Proud” includes gift cards to local businesses such as Patties and Pints, Scent from Heaven, Gampps BP gas station, Hickie’s, and more.
- “Amazon- Alexa, Win this basket for me!” includes an Amazon Fire tablet, one year subscription to Amazon Kids+, a bluetooth headset, Echo Pop, and smart light bulb.
Tickets are available for $1 each, or six for $5, and you can even choose what basket you want your each of your tickets to go for.
You can purchase tickets by completing the
online form available on the Scioto County DD website and Facebook page, or by contacting any VRS staff member to purchase tickets. An electronic payment option is also available using PayPal to @vrspto. Anyone purchasing through Paypal is asked to please use the “Friends & Family” option so no fees are assessed.
